Rocky the Rooster

Beth misses our Chickens ... so here is one of our Roosters: 'Rocky' that I painted to cheer her up

Rocky particularly loved to eat loose french fries swept out the car door from Ian's car seat when Ian was smaller

Most Roosters seem to get nasty & ill tempered - dare I say 'Cocky' ? (not a pun if thats the origination of the word)

But, not Rocky! ... he remained friendly and funny

(sigh) I miss Farm life but not how exhausted I used to feel trying to keep a place going while having Parkinson's disease

Guess my Barn Yard will live on our walls in paintings like these
